![]() Tuesday, December 24, 2002Welcome to L.A.On my way home from seeing a movie today ("About Schmidt"), I saw vehicles with license plates from Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Alabama. What are all these people doing here? Also, I had to take off my sunglasses and squint a little to read what it said across the top of the Alabama license plate, which was of a new design that I didn't recognize. It said "Stars Fell On," but it was in dark gold letters on a blue stripe. What happened to "Heart of Dixie"? Probably the same thing that happened to "Keystone State" on the Pennsylvania plate. ![]() |
