![]() Monday, December 27, 2004What's the worst that could happen?
I went to Disneyland with some friends yesterday. You know how people sometimes joke about getting stuck on It's a Small World? Well...
Actually, fortunately, we weren't stuck, but a boat somewhere ahead of us must have been. We were moving very slowly for much of the ride, though. And the other fortunate thing is that It's a Small World was in its "holiday" configuration, so the children of many lands were singing both the title song and "Jingle Bells." The other highlight is that I briefly got to ride a Segway. Turns out the hardest thing about it (at least for me) is getting your weight distributed exactly right in order to keep it in one spot (i.e., that it doesn't think you're leaning forward or backward, which is how you make it move). ![]() |
