Seen at Ralphs today: Disney's Old Yeller brand dog food, which is apparently a store brand. Just the thing to feed your dog before you shoot him!

Also, as the Assistant Service Manager was checking me out, he indicated the block of extra sharp cheddar cheese I was buying and said, "That reminds me I got to get some of this for myself. Usually, I'm so eager to get out of here at the end of the day that I forget I have my own shopping to do, and I end up having to stop at the 7-Eleven on the way home." I guess the Assistant Service Manager is senior enough that he's allowed to say things like that to the customers.

(Yes, I do often hanker for a hunk of cheese.)
