![]() Thursday, May 04, 2006John Hodgman is a better version of me
I've already mentioned here the existence of "Jim Knows: The Book" by John Hodgman (actual title: The Areas of My Expertise).
What I haven't mentioned is his appearance on a DVD by They Might Be Giants, my favorite band of all time. And his occasional appearances on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," a fine television program which I watch regularly. Now he's appearing in a series of television commercials for Apple in which he plays "PC" to Justin Long's "Mac" -- that's Justin Long of "Ed," a fine television program which I watched regularly. I am expecting that next, I will hear that he has given up the writing business and is now employed as both the P.A. announcer at Shea Stadium and as an Amtrak conductor. ![]() |
