Heard on the P.A. system at the supermarket today: "Thank you for continuing to shop with us during our remodeling. What an adventure!"

I assume it's more of an adventure for the employees than for the customers, because I'm not really sure that trying to find where they moved the cereal this week counts as an "adventure."

Google Maps now has street-level views of Los Angeles. They didn't cover much of the Valley, but they did manage to take photos of their competition's buildings in Burbank. I don't know why I find it amusing, but I do.

The street I live on isn't included, but here's where I shop for groceries (although I never enter the parking lot from this side), and here's where I go when I need postal services (on the left -- for some reason, it won't save the exact view I want).
